I have defined just about all of the potential words from the previous post while traveling. During the slower parts of trips I mentally work on my current conlang. Here a few of my favorites:

Vertical bars are included here to show where the morpheme boundaries are, but aren't included in normal writing. kyuña|ráik n. neut. mead ("honey wine") slorna|kota n. terr. bar, tavern ("beer house") kunko|shonka n. terr. volcano ("fire mountain") ruva|fazbu n. neut. romance ("love art") raya|lede n. neut. culture ("people way") yuna|shu n. neut. nectar ("flower water") yuna|rezno n. cel. perfume, fragrance, cologne ("flower smell")

Often I will come up with a word or word stem that I want to use in a particular conlang without having a meaning for it yet. I keep a digital scratchpad of these "potential words". Sometimes I include a part of speech or a possible meaning.
These are the potential words I currently have on my scratchpad for Shonkasika: swiyu n. torde n. oiko ? (ge)troiya ? edzinu v. fyukwe ? krebinu v. ikuña n. jedh n. If you have any ideas, feel free to share them in the comments! I have been on vacation the past couple of weeks so I've been catching up on the forum. I see a lot of neat work! Even on vacation, I couldn't avoid conlanging, haha.
I tweaked a couple of case forms, mainly minor changes. More significantly, I decided to make different stems for the plural forms of the 3rd person personal pronouns. Listed in the nominative case, the 3p singular forms are: ne/no/na neuter, celestial, terrestrial les/los/las common, masculine, feminine The plural forms are (listed in the same gender order): kith/coth/cath gun/gwon/gwan Finally, I came up with over 20 new words. A few of my favorites: grad n. evil deed/act, sin grumes com. troll sulha t. moss mutsi n. cake gecka t. log knalu n. bowl |
